North Gwinnett residents will have an opportunity to attend an open house on the county’s comprehensive transportation plan.
Updated every five years, the latest version of the plan is known as Destination 2050. According to county officials, the update “relies on input from the community to ensure that the county makes informed decisions about transportation.” The plan serves as a guide for future investments in roadways, sidewalks, bicycling facilities, intersections and more.
Residents, business owners and community partners are invited to learn about the plan and share ideas for transportation across the county during the open house from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26, the Suwanee library branch at 316 Main St.
Attendees are encouraged to register for the open house for planning purposes. Sign up online here to be notified when registration opens.
