Buford takes first and Lanier takes third in their pool
BUFORD — Buford hosted pool play for Berkmar, Buford, Grayson and Lanier volleyball teams on Thursday.
The Wolves ended the day in the top spot in their pool on Thursday. They first beat Grayson with set scores of 25-12, 25-7. Then Buford knocked off Lanier with set scores of 25-10, 25-20 and lastly they easily downed Berkmar with set scores of 25-8, 25-8.
Lanier came in third place in their pool after losing to Grayson in their final match of the pool play. Grayson came in second while Berkmar came in fourth.
North Gwinnett wins all three of their matches
SUWANEE — North Gwinnett hosted their pool which consisted of Greater Atlanta Christian and Archer.
Greater Atlanta Christian fell to the Bulldogs first with set scores of 25-21, 25-22. North Gwinnett would then go on to defeat Archer 25-8, 25-15
The Gwinnett County Championships will be held on Saturday, Sept. 26 at Greater Atlanta Christian.
