The Gwinnett County Diamond Club released the names of the softball players that were selected to receive all-county honors on Monday.
North Gwinnett junior Amber Reed was recognized as Gwinnett’s Co-Player of the Year along with Dacula’s Emily Digby. Another North Gwinnett junior, Bella Faw was named the county’s Defensive Player of the Year.
Buford junior Olivia Duncan was selected as Gwinnett’s Pitcher of the Year.
North Gwinnett junior Jaylyn Benson was named to the North All-County team for Class AAAAAAA.
Area selections for the Class AAAAAA-A All-County team were Buford senior Taylor Malvin and sophomores Mackenzie Pickens and Madison Pickens along with Lanier senior Lauren Cothern.
