The Gwinnett County Police Department has announced it is increasing patrols in and around Asian businesses, specifically spas, in Gwinnett County.

The announcement follows shootings at two massage parlors in Atlanta and Cherokee County on Tuesday that left eight people dead, including six women of Asian descent. A suspect, Robert Aaron Long, 21, of Woodstock, is in police custody.
