The Gwinnett County Police Department is seeking the public’s help locating two men accused of stealing more than $30,000 in jewelry from two retailers.
According to police, Mario Lee Pittman, 28, of Decatur, and Jason Adam Warren, 28, of Lithonia, entered the Jewelry Box Outlet at Sugarloaf Mills Mall in Lawrenceville on Wednesday, April 27, and asked to try on two diamond and gold bracelets valued at more than $26,000. The two suspects took the bracelets and fled the store on foot.
On Saturday, April 30, the suspects approached the Status Jewels kiosk inside Sugarloaf Mills Mall and asked to view a bracelet valued at $4,500. Police said when an employee placed the bracelet on Warren’s wrist, both men looked at it before fleeing the mall.
The suspects are thought to be driving a Black BMV SUV with Georgia tag CMI1394.
Detectives ask anyone with information that may lead to locating the suspects to come forward.
