Gwinnett County Transit is hosting a coat drive to provide warmth and comfort to those in need.
Donations of new coats for women, men and children of all sizes will be accepted at several transit locations, including the Buford Park and Ride at Interstate 985 at Ga. Highway 20. Area residents can drop off donations there from 6 to 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 26.
Unable to drop off at the Buford Park and Ride during those hours? The Gwinnett County Transit Customer Service Office will accept donations from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 24, through Friday, Jan. 28. The office is located at 3525 Mall Boulevard, Suite 5C, in Duluth.
Donations will be given to local cooperative ministries.
