Firefighters with Hall County Fire Rescue responded to a call about a residential fire on Monday afternoon, Mar. 6 in the 6300 block of Snelling Mill Road in Flowery Branch.
Crews arrived on scene at 1:10 p.m. and found a small single story home with smoke coming out of the rear of the structure. Firefighters quickly got to work knocking down the bulk of the fire with a goal to keep the fire from extending into the attic. The fire was handled in 20 minutes after they set to work on extinguishing it.
A primary and secondary search of the residence was conducted with no one found inside of the home. All residents were accounted for and no injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time and is under investigation by the Hall County Fire Marshal’s Office.
