The Hall County Sheriff’s Office recently launched Sheriff to Citizen, a concise and user-friendly online tool that empowers citizens with information on Sheriff’s Office law enforcement activity. The public can access it through links on the Sheriff’s Office websites.
The Sheriff to Citizen site provides public information and reports that were previously only available through interaction with the Sheriff’s Office Records Division. With just a few mouse clicks, citizens can now view an event map, search for accidents, incidents and arrests, see the current Hall County Jail population, browse the daily bulletin and report certain incidents. The page has a searchable range of 30 days.
EVENT MAP
- The Sheriff to Citizen event map plots accidents, arrests and incidents on a map of Hall County. Users may choose between map and satellite views. By clicking a red icon on the map, the list on the right side of the screen automatically navigates to information about the event.
EVENT SEARCH
- Members of the public seeking information on specific accidents, arrests or incidents may use the event search tool. Citizens can choose criteria ranging from names to dates and addresses.
