BUFORD — A local restaurant located in the Hamilton Mill Road area was visited by a health inspector on Friday to perform a routine health inspection. Numerous violations were found resulting in the restaurant failing their inspection.
The Philly Bistro located at 2680 Hamilton Mill Rd., Suite 101A in unincorporated Buford received a 64 U on their inspection Friday. Violations range in scope. Raw chicken stored improperly, items in the prep cooler reading at temps above the allowed temp, and multiple items not properly labeled with date and time were just a few of the noted violations.

The restaurant will have a follow-up inspection done over the next two weeks to make sure the noted violations were taken care of.
