BUFORD — Crews with the Hall County Fire Services respond to a call about a residential fire located in the 900 block of Gainesville Hwy (GA 13) shortly after 11:30 p.m. on Thursday.
Upon arrival, firefighters found a 1200-square-foot home with flames throughout the roof. They immediately began attacking the fire and had it under control within an hour. There were no reported injuries. The home had no occupants living in it at the time.
At approximately 5:20 a.m. Hall County Fire Services had to respond to the same location as the fire rekindled overnight.
Fire crews found the home to be fully engulfed in flames once more. Firefighters were still battling the blaze as of 8 a.m. on Friday. No injuries have been reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Hall County Fire Marshal’s Office.
