Joey Overman, age 16 of Buford, GA, died suddenly Friday, February 22, 2019. A funeral service will be held Thursday, February 28, 2019, at 6 PM at Sugar Hill Church. Pastor Tripp Atkinson will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 4:30-5:45 PM at the church. Joey is survived by his parents, Denise and Kenneth Overman, Buford; brothers, Jake Overman and Luke Overman, both of Buford; grandparents, Nancy and John Maich, TX, Ann Overman, Buford, Danny and Delia Villarreal, CA; aunts and uncles, Sonia and Brandon Griffith, CA, Danny Villarreal, CA, Roger and Christine Villarreal, CA, Jacob Maich, TX, Ben and Dawn Walling, CA, Brian and Adrienne Walling, OR, Mark Springman, OR, Greg Springman, OR. Joey was born in Hemet, CA and had lived the last 4 years in the metro Atlanta area. He attended Sugar Hill Church and 12Stone.
