John Patrick Jordan, age 76, of Buford, GA passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2019. He is survived by his wife of fifty-three years, Sharon Lee Jordan, Buford, GA; daughter, Janet (Heath) Klingensmith, Clarkesville, TN; sister-in-law, Janet Sayers, Orland Park, IL. Mr. Jordan was born December 7, 1942 in Chicago, IL. He was a 1960 graduate of Brother Rice High School, Chicago, IL and Saint Ambrose College. Mr. Jordan was a veteran of the U. S. Army for eight years. Mr. Jordan was a retired branch manager for the United States Department of Education. He was a member of the Buford American Legion Post 127 where he served on the finance board, as well as a member of the Gold Shields for Atlanta Police and a member of Hibernians Club for Irish.
