Lanier running back Kaden Beard announced via Twitter on Tuesday, Jan. 31 that he is committing to further his academic and athletic career at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York. The Marist College Red Foxes are part of the Pioneer Football League in NCAA’s Division I.
The 5-foot-10, 195-pound senior played in 11 games for the Longhorns during the 2022 season. Beard had 209 carries for a total of 1,057 yards, averaging 5.1 yards per carry or 96.1 yards per game, as well as four touchdowns this past season.
