Male suspect caught on camera stealing high-value equipment and materials from local construction company

BUFORD — The Gwinnett County Police Department’s Burglary Unit is seeking the public’s help to identify a man who broke into a local construction company and made off with $29,000 worth of materials and tools.

On April 3, 2020, officers responded to a commercial burglary that took place overnight at Infinity Construction located at 4963 Austin Park Ave. in unincorporated Buford.  Upon reviewing security footage, police observed a male suspect cutting the fence and using ladders to climb the barbed wire fence to gain access to the facility.  

Upon gaining access to the business, the suspect stole multiple cat heads or motors used for cellphone tower construction worth $24,000.  He also made off with several rolls of wiring valued at $4,000 and $1,000 in tools from the company.
