BUFORD — One normally quiet and picturesque Buford neighborhood was put on edge on Friday after a domestic incident spilled over into the subdivision. Multiple Gwinnett County Police Department units responded to a home located in Brickton Station after a man fled there following an incident in Hall County.
According to a post on the Nextdoor app by the homeowner of the house in which police converged on in Brickton Station, a friend of his ran into trouble in Hall County before fleeing to his house. The homeowner claims that his friend has been having issues letting his ex-girlfriend go and he rammed the back of her vehicle causing her to go into the ditch. That part of the incident took place in Hall County. After fleeing the accident scene, the man went to his friend’s home in Brickton Station where Gwinnett County assisted Hall County in apprehending the suspect. He is now an inmate at the Hall County Jail.
