Margaritaville’s Lakeside Lights Spectacular at Lanier Islands will have illuminating holiday fun for the whole family.
The attraction opens on Wednesday, Nov. 24, and features a walking trail of holiday light displays complete with festive music and hot cocoa. The light show includes everything from traditional holiday fixtures to images created with light and even some Margaritaville-themed scenes. The family-friendly light spectacular is appropriate for all ages and makes a point of catering to both children and adults.
Santa’s Tiki Bar is located at the beginning and end of the walking trail. It offers craft beers and specialty cocktails, as well as popcorn, cotton candy and other sweets. It also features numerous flat screen TVs for guests to catch a game before and after they experience the lights.
Midway through the light show, patrons will also find the Tipsy Elf, a refill station for everything from cocktails to sweet treats and hot chocolate. It’s perfect for children and adults alike to take a breather and top up before continuing through the second half of the trail.
The attraction also boasts Rudolph’s Landing, an area that includes the LandShark Bar and Grill as well as Dasher’s Drinks and Treats. Here, guests can grab a full meal, a snack or just a drink and warm up or toast marshmallows around the big fire pits.
The show begins nightly at 5 p.m. and will run through Sunday, Feb. 27. Closing times vary by day, and days of operation vary after the New Year.
Standard tickets cost $20 per person. Children age 2 and younger are free, and ages 3 to 7, seniors, active or retired military, and anyone in a group of 15 or more can enter for $15. There is also a family of four pack available for $60. An all-access day pass can also be purchased for $55 ($220 for the family pack), which includes entry to all the attractions at the park’s License to Chill Snow Island during the day as well as the Lakeside Lights Spectacular in the evening.
