UPDATE #3: Luke has been found and has been returned to his family confirmed the police.
UPDATE #2: Several local residents confirmed to the North Gwinnett Voice that the child is missing from the Brickton Station neighborhood off of Hamilton Mill Road.
UPDATE: Luke wandered away from his home in the Hamilton Mill Road and South Bogan Road area of Buford the Gwinnett Police said.
ORIGINAL: BUFORD — The Gwinnett County Police Department is asking the public’s help in locating a 13-year-old special needs child who wandered away from his Buford home.
Luke Poste is 5′ 1″ tall and weighs around 130 lbs. He has blue eyes and light brown or blonde hair. He was last seen wearing a black shirt with the sleeves cut off and a wolf on the front, black headphones, dark-colored cargo pants and white Adidas shoes.
Luke has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and behavioral mental health issues. Police say that he has the mental capacity of a nine-year-old.
Luke was last seen on Sunday night leaving his house at 6:30 p.m.
