BRASELTON — The Vein Clinic, a service of Northeast Georgia Physicians Group’s Vascular Center, has opened a location at Northeast Georgia Medical Center Braselton, where physician assistant Cori Beth Herron is now seeing patients.

Herron has more than 10 years of experience as a physician assistant. Before joining the vein clinic, she worked in general surgery with NGPG Surgical Associates.

At the Braselton clinic, Herron evaluates patients and develops treatment plans tailored to individual needs. Treatment options may include lifestyle changes, compression therapy and minimally invasive procedures.

“Varicose veins, spider veins and chronic venous insufficiency are very common,” Herron said. “More than 30 million Americans experience these conditions, but many remain undiagnosed and untreated.”

The clinic offers several minimally invasive treatments, including sclerotherapy, radiofrequency ablation, VenaSeal, Varithena and phlebectomy. Some treatments may be covered by insurance, and self-pay options are available.

The Vein Clinic is located inside the NGPG Vascular Center at 1515 River Place, Suite 280, in Medical Plaza 1 on the NGMC Braselton campus. Appointments can be scheduled online or by calling the clinic.

Northeast Georgia Physicians Group includes more than 700 physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, midwives and clinical staff across more than 50 locations in North Georgia, offering care in more than 40 specialties.

The group is affiliated with Northeast Georgia Health System, which serves more than 1 million residents in 19 counties and operates hospitals in Gainesville, Braselton, Winder, Dahlonega and Demorest.
