As each generation graduates and moves on to college, they look back on their lives as growing young students. What they remember most, are the teachers that helped them make it to the end. Ms. Rebecca Carlisle of North Gwinnett High School is one of six Finalists for the Gwinnett County Teacher of the Year. Ms. Carlisle is a 10th-Grade AP World History teacher at North Gwinnett High School. She has been given the nickname of “Ms. Sunshine” by her fellow teachers and can never be seen teaching her students without a smile. “I have been teaching for Gwinnett County Schools for 10 years and this is my 6th year at North Gwinnett High School. I love teaching because of the relationships I get to build with the students and their families. I love getting to see the students grow and work through challenges. Teaching at North is an honor and I am so grateful for all of the love and support!!(Rebecca Carlisle)”.
