The following reports were filed by the Gwinnett County Police Department between May 1-15, 2023.
• Reports of forcible sodomy were investigated in the 1500 block of Cypress Drive NE in Buford and in the 600 block of Bellingham Drive NE and 400 block of Level Creek Road NE in Sugar Hill.
• Forcible fondling was reported in the 3300 block of Buford Drive NE in Buford.
• Reports of aggravated assault were filed in the 1200 block of Rock Springs Road NE and 2900 block of Buford Drive NE (three incidents) in Buford and in the 1400 block of Railroad Avenue NE in Sugar Hill.
• Reports of simple assault were filed in the 4200 block of S Lee Street NE, 2400 block of Buford Dam Road NE, 1400 block of Buford Highway NE, 1600 block of Broadmoor Boulevard NE, 100 block of New Street NE, 600 block of S Harris Street NE, 1200 block of Newbridge Circle NE, the area of Rock Springs Road NE and Buford Drive, 3700 block of Buford Drive NE, 3400 block of Southpointe Hill Drive NE (two incidents), 3300 block of Buford Drive NE (two incidents), 1600 block of Mall of Georgia Boulevard NE and 2100 block of Copper Trail Lane NE in Buford, and in the 1000 block of Pine Isle Court NE in Sugar Hill.
• Officers investigated reports of driving under the influence in the following areas and locations in Buford: Buford Drive and French Boulevard; S Lee Street and S Lee Court; 3000 block of Gravel Springs Road NE; Gravel Springs Road NE and Ivy Crossing Drive; Buford Drive NE and Mall of Georgia Boulevard NE (two incidents); Cross Road NE and Misty Brook Court; Buford Drive and Sudderth Road; Buford Drive NE and S Bogan Road; 3200 block of Buford Drive NE; Ivy Creek Road and Ginger Drive; and 1800 block of Appaloosa Lane NE. A report of driving under the influence was also filed in the area of Nelson Brogdon Boulevard and Commerce Drive in Sugar Hill.
• Officers responded to reports of burglary/breaking and entering in the 1500 block of Buford Highway NE and 4700 block of Nelson Brogdon Boulevard. Buford locations.
• Disorderly conduct was reported in the 2900 block of Buford Drive NE in Buford and in the 5000 block of W Broad Street NE in Sugar Hill.
• Reports of destructive/damage/vandalism of property were investigated in the 300 block of Roberts Street NE, 700 block of George Street NE, 1500 block of Laurel Crossing Parkway NE and 3200 block of Woodward Crossing Boulevard NE in Buford; in the 800 block of Level Creek Road NE in Sugar Hill; and in the 400 block of Havenmist Landing NE in Suwanee.
• Incidents of false pretense/swindle/confidence game were reported in the 100 block of Victor Drive NE, 5300 block of Lexington View Place NE, 3700 block of Buford Drive NE and 3200 block of Woodward Crossing Boulevard NE in Buford; the 800 block of Old Spring Way NE in Sugar Hill; and in the 3900 block of Westbrook Road NE and 600 block of Brogdon Road NE in Suwanee.
• Officers investigated a report of impersonation in the 1900 block of Buford Mill Drive NE in Buford.
• A motor vehicle theft was reported in the 4900 block of Spring Hill Bend in Sugar Hill.
• Reports of theft from a motor vehicle were filed in the 2000 block of Buford Highway NE, 4100 block of Buford Drive NE, ,1600 block of Mall of Georgia Boulevard NE, 2700 block of Mall of Georgia Boulevard NE, 2900 block of Buford Drive NE (two incidents) and 4100 block of Buford Drive NE. • Reports of shoplifting were filed in the 1600 block of Buford Highway NE, 3300 block of Buford Drive NE (16 incidents) and 3200 block of Woodward Crossing Boulevard NE in Buford.
