Region 8-AAAAAAA voted recently on its region awards and the list of football players who made the All-Region list was released. North Gwinnett has nine players listed on the All-Region 8-AAAAAAA First Team. The award winners were voted on by the coaches in the region.
North Gwinnett’s All-Region 8-AAAAAAA First Team Offense selections are QB Ethan Washington, RB Marcus MacFarlane, WR Cade Funderburk, WR Dylan Gary and OL Jaaymen Rochelle.
DL Kayden McDonald, DL Tyler Walton, LB Grant Godfrey and DB Jordan Buchanan were each named to the All-Region 8-AAAAAAA First Team Defense.
OL Robert Long and H Hayden Morton made the All-Region Second Team for Offense. DL Jonathan Hamm and LB Jace Anderson both were selected for the All-Region Second Team for Defense.
