The new Buford facility will serve as the region’s primary flat-rolled fabrication hub.  Olympic Steel has added new equipment to this location that will enhance its value-added fabrication capabilities for its automotive OEM customers.

“The opening of the Buford facility strategically aligns our product and processing capabilities to efficiently meet our growing customer needs in the Southeast,” said David Gea, Region Vice President and General Manager. “The expansion allows us to offer new processed products and additional just-in-time services to our customers.”

The company says that they intend to hold an opening ceremony and offer tours at a later date for the new Buford facility.
