Just before school started back, the North Gwinnett Voice was given the opportunity to attend a practice for the Lanier High School varsity football team and to interview their new head coach, Tyler Maloof.
Maloof is a third generation football coach as his father, Keith Maloof is the head coach at Norcross and his grandfather, George Maloof, was the head coach for St. Pius X. This is Tyler Maloof’s first year as a head coach. He was previously an assistant coach for his father at Norcross.
Maloof has brought a new intensity to the football team’s practices this year. Check back soon to read more about Maloof and the Lanier Longhorns.
