NORCROSS — The Gwinnett County Police Department is seeking the identity of two male suspects wanted in connection with an armed robbery that took place at the 6289 Mart, Inc. located at 6289 South Norcross Tucker Rd. in Norcross.
On Friday, June 12, two males entered the 6289 Mart and proceeded to the rear of the store to use the lottery machine. The store employee was uneasy about the two males and called a neighboring business’s employee over to the store. As the two workers were looking at the security monitor of the two males, the suspects come walking up to the front of the store and pulled out guns on the two workers. The suspects pointed the guns at the workers’ heads demanding money.
The suspects made off with $1,390 in cash along with one victim’s purse and cell phone, as well as, the cell phone of the other victim.
The suspects are both described as Hispanic males. One suspect was wearing an orange hoodie with jeans and he possibly has a skin condition. He was armed with a small black handgun. The second suspect was wearing an Aeropostale shirt and dark shorts. He is described as having a thin build. He also had a gun. One victim told police that she believes the suspects to be young due to them not being taller.
