Police searching for 16-year-old Buford missing teen

The Gwinnett County Police Department has reported 16-year-old teen, Asata Amun, missing Thursday afternoon.

Her father reported Amun missing, the Facebook post issued by police said, and she was last seen in her home in Buford. She was seen on Westoak Ct., which is at the intersection of W. Price Rd. and Level Creek Rd.

Amun is 5-foot-2, weighs 115 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a white shirt and black pants.

The police department did not respond with immediate comment. The North Gwinnett Voice will provide more information as it becomes available.
