This week’s Reader of the Week is Buford Senior Academy student Elizabeth Lee. Elizabeth is in fourth grade and has already read more than three million words this school year! Her favorite book is ”The Story Collector.” Elizabeth says, “My favorite book is ‘The Story Collector’ because it is a very exciting and suspenseful mystery. In this book, some priceless stamps were stolen from a library, and three young girls try to figure out who stole them.”
Elizabeth is 9 years old and has two older brothers who are in middle school and high school. Her family moved to Georgia about a year ago. Her favorite things to do are read, draw, play the piano and play lacrosse.
Elizabeth was nominated by Emily Stewart, the media specialist at Buford Senior Academy.
“Elizabeth is so absolutely delightful,” Stewart said. “She is an avid reader, and I love having conversation with her when she comes by in the Media Center.”
