Tonight two out of the three teams that the North Gwinnett Voice follows made the cut after winning their second-round playoff games.
Buford traveled to Ware County in Waycross to take on the Gators. Buford kept Ware County scoreless until the fourth quarter. The Buford Wolves beat the Ware County Gators 34-6.
Buford’s next opponent will be Carrollton.
North Gwinnett hosted Walton and for the second time this year, North Gwinnett dominated Walton. The Bulldogs took home the win with a 60-10 score over Walton.
North Gwinnett will play McEachern in the quarterfinals.
Lanier traveled past Savannah to play Richmond Hill. The Lanier Longhorns were not able to beat Richmond Hill. Richmond Hill took the win with a 41-34 final score. Lanier’s season has ended.
