Sheila Hughes Elrod, age 89, of Buford, GA passed away on Sunday, February 3, 2019. She was preceded in death by husbands, Warner White Elrod and John Cook; and daughter, Gail Marie Elrod. She is survived by her children, Dixie and Aaron Barnes, Flowery Branch, GA, Sonya and Allen Pardue, Buford, GA, Cole and Nellie Olsen Elrod, Washington, IL; five grandchildren, Colleen Elrod, Zach Pardue, Kyla Gentry, Joshua Barnes, Trea Zemaitis; five great-grandchildren, Jermiah Wood, Araya Pardue, Julianna Gentry, Grace Gentry, and Jaylen Gentry. Mrs. Elrod was born April 15, 1929, in Lexington, England. She was a retired waitress from Santa Rosa Golf and County Club, Santa Rosa, CA. No formal services are planned.
