Sugar Hill extends virtual input forum on 2039 comprehensive plan outreach efforts

The city of Sugar Hill has extended a virtual input forum for its ENVISION 100 2039 Comprehensive Plan.

Participants have until 5 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 2, to offer feedback on public involvement and outreach efforts related to the comprehensive plan. The city has established six phases of the planning process and is currently in the first and second phases — connecting wit the community through public involvement and data gathering, respectively.

Forum participants are asked to view a brief video and provide feedback on how the city can reach more residents. The forum also includes previous comments from participants.

Sugar Hill residents, business owners and visitors can also take part in a public input survey. The survey asks questions about community values, ways daily life in Sugar Hill could improve, housing, transportation and recreation options.

According to the city, “Early on, we’ll document existing conditions on a full range of issues and work to encourage the widest possible community participation. We’ll then use that data to inform discussions on community aspirations, and we will create a roadmap for how we will get to where we want to be through the year 2039.”
