On Saturday, May 6, the summer season for the Suwanee Farmers Market will open offering fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables.
The market is held from 8 a.m. to noon every Saturday from May through September, with the exception of Sept. 16, at Town Center Park.
Market vendors will be selling a variety of items, including produce, meat, eggs, specialty treats from cuisines from around the world, plants and seasonings, jams and sauces, body creams and soaps, herbal teas and cornmeal.
“Also, come hungry as you can grab breakfast like scones, empanadas, bread, coffee and hot breakfast as well,” said Amy Doherty, Suwanee’s events and outreach manager. “We have something for just about everyone!”
