Investigators with the Gwinnett County Police Department’s are exploring all motives for the shooting. Detectives are asking anyone with information that may lead to the identification of those involved to please come forward.

Officers with Gwinnett County Police Department’s North Precinct responded to a call about a shooting that took place at Parma Tavern at 3350 Buford Drive in Buford early Friday morning.
At approximately 1:30 a.m., officers arrived on the scene and heard gunshots. Officers returned fire and the suspects fled the scene. No officers were injured in the incident.
One victim was wounded in the leg prior to officers arriving. He was transported to a local hospital and his injuries are said to be non-life-threatening. No other injuries are known at this time.
A white Mercedes Benz car and a Gwinnett County Police cruiser were seen being towed from the crime scene in the parking lot of Parma Tavern, but it is unknown as to what connection they have to the incident.
Investigators are working the scene and have not released any further details at this time.
