Staff Reports – (Suwanee) – Due to forecasted heavy weather for this weekend, the Suwanee Jazz Fest has been rescheduled to Saturday, June 8, 6-10 p.m..

Originally set for this weekend (Saturday, May 11 6-10 p.m.), North Gwinnett Arts Association President Cherie Heringer decided it was in the best interest of musicians and festival-goers to push the date back a month.

“The weather forecast for this weekend is dismal at best and potentially risky at worst,” Heringer told the Voice. “Therefore we’ve made the decision to reschedule the Jazz Fest to June 8. All of the artists are available and ready to perform then.”

The annual event is a fund-raiser for NGAA’s various community outreach programs and college scholarships for local high school arts students.

Jazz Fest will still feature great music, local eateries, food trucks and vendors dishing up delicious food, drinks and cocktails to go. General admission is FREE, but you can purchase a table for six down front and elevate your evening with a VIP experience.

Artist lineup:

SHAMEIA CRAWFORD
DANII ROUNDTREE
ANONYMOUS DA BAND
UNKNOWN LYRIC
