SUWANEE — The Suwanee Police Department releases the name of the victim that was killed on Saturday night at the Walmart located at 3245 Lawrenceville Suwanee Road in Suwanee.

Two males had fled the scene in a UHaul truck after shoplifting from the store and in the process of fleeing, they struck Christian Gutierrez, age 42 of Sugar Hill.  The suspects did not stop after striking Gutierrez and proceeded to drag him out of the parking lot onto Satellite Boulevard.

Gutierrez was pronounced deceased at the scene.
