The city of Suwanee’s open air farmers market will begin its 2022 summer season Saturday, May 7.
The market is open from 8 a.m. to noon Saturdays through September, with the exception of Sept. 17, at Town Center Park.
More than 40 vendors are expected to be on hand selling a variety of goods.
“The Suwanee Farmers Market has been in existence for almost 20 years,” said Amy Doherty, Suwanee’s events and outreach manager. “Customers who shop the market can expect to find seasonal fruits and vegetables as well as meats, eggs, seafood, honey, baked goods, ground coffee, soaps and lotions, spices, pickles, fresh cut flowers, salsa, empanadas, and even hot breakfast!
“The market is not only a great place to pick up locally grown and prepared items,” Doherty continued, “it’s a great place to be social and brings the community together!”
