SUGAR HILL — TEDxSugar Hill will return July 30, 2027, bringing another lineup of speakers and thought leaders to the city following its inaugural event earlier this year.
The second event will carry the theme “Constellations,” according to the official TEDxSugar Hill website. Organizers have not yet announced the venue, speaker lineup or ticket information.
Prospective attendees can register through the website to receive updates about speakers, tickets and other event details. Applications are also open for those interested in speaking at the 2027 event.

The event follows the debut of TEDxSugar Hill: Catalyst, held Jan. 23 at the Eagle Theatre in downtown Sugar Hill. The three-hour program featured nine speakers sharing ideas related to leadership, innovation, resilience and personal growth.
The inaugural event’s “Catalyst” theme focused on the people and ideas that set change in motion. Organizers described catalysts as people who do more than initiate change; they help build and sustain it.
The event attracted business leaders, educators, entrepreneurs, students and other community members from across metro Atlanta. Networking opportunities followed the presentations, allowing attendees to continue conversations inspired by the speakers.
TEDx is a program created by TED that allows communities around the world to host independently organized events under license. The local events combine live speakers and TED Talks videos to encourage discussion and connection while reflecting the character of their communities.
TEDxSugar Hill is presented by the Georgia First Generation Foundation and organized by a local team. The nonprofit works to support first-generation students through mentorship, scholarships, educational programs and leadership opportunities.
Organizers say TEDxSugar Hill seeks to create meaningful conversations while showcasing ideas capable of making a lasting impact in the community and beyond.
