WINDER — The Buford varsity volleyball team was on the road on Tuesday to play two Region 8-AAAAAA opponents at Winder-Barrow High School. The Lady Wolves were 14-0 going into Tuesday’s matches.
First up for Buford was Shiloh. It took the Lady Wolves two sets to claim victory over the Lady Generals with set scores of 25-6 and 25-2.
The Lady Wolves were able to beat the Lady Bulldoggs in just two sets as well with sets scores of 25-10 and 25-15.
Buford’s strong performances were led by Mikayla Hayden with 15 kills, Grace Adams had 38 assists, and Macy Upshaw with 21 digs.
Buford remains undefeated with an overall record of 16-0.
Buford will host St. Pius on Thursday. It is the Lady Wolves’ Senior Night.
