Staff Reports – (Buford) – On Wednesday, May 8, a diner at the Bonefish Grill restaurant in Buford (3420 Buford Drive) reported that someone had stolen her wallet from her purse that had been hanging from the back of her chair while she ate.
Following the theft, a suspect purchased multiple gift cards in excess of $1,500 at the self-checkout register at a local Kroger grocery store using the victim’s card.
Surveillance images obtained by the Gwinnett County Police Department show the female suspect at the Kroger (3300 Hamilton Mill Road in Buford) making the purchases with the stolen card.
