Kylie Chung won the girls 10-11 division of the Drive, Chip and Putt tournament at the Augusta National Golf Club. Chung’s home golf course is Laurel Springs Golf Club in Suwanee.
The tournament saw young golfers from across the nation come together on the iconic course to compete at the elite level of youth golf. Chung’s division saw one of the tightest finishes in the competition, and she won by only a couple of inches.
“I feel like I’m amazing,” Chung, who resides in Cumming, said after seeing her name on the winning scoreboard.
When Chung was asked what she would tell people back home about her experience in the tournament, she replied, “I’m going to tell those boys that I’m good at golf.”
