Quentin Skinner, a 2019 graduate of Buford High School, has spent the past three seasons as a long snapper for LSU. In March, Skinner entered the transfer portal. He has chosen to continue his college football career as the long snapper for Troy University in Troy, Alabama.
Skinner played in 23 games in his three seasons for the LSU Tigers — 10 games in 2020 and 12 games in 2021.
During his time at Buford High School, Skinner racked up accolades, including being named first-team all-state snapper, receiving the Chris Rubio Award as the nation’s top long snapper in 2019 and playing in the 2019 All-American Bowl.
Skinner will be an asset to Troy University after the long snapper position was left vacant following the graduation of All-American long snapper Cameron Kaye last season.
