Odd couple’s shoplifting spree nets $4K in goods from Buford store

Buford – On Monday, April 29 at approximately 3:30 p.m., two suspects entered the Northern Tool and Equipment located at 4125 Buford Drive in Buford. The male suspect distracted an employee while the female suspect loaded up a shopping cart with various tools valued at $4,300 and pushed the cart out the door without paying.

The Gwinnett County Police Department is requesting the public’s help in identifying two shoplifting suspects.

The suspects’ unusual and colorful wardrobe choices might make spotting them easier for citizens. The male suspect is described as between 20-25 years of age, wearing dark sweatpants, teal shoes, and carrying an orange fanny pack. The female suspect is described as between 30-40 years of age with red hair, wearing a black visor, a white hoodie with various portraits of women, black yoga pants, and pink shoes.
