BUFORD, Ga. — Country rock artist Brantley Gilbert will return to northeast Georgia this fall as part of his expanded Real American Tour, with a performance scheduled for Oct. 10 at the Buford Community Center.
The Buford concert is among more than 20 newly announced dates extending Gilbert’s headlining tour through November.
Gilbert, who grew up in Jefferson, Georgia and began his career performing in local bars before becoming one of country music’s most recognizable country-rock artists.
He first gained national attention after signing with Average Joes Entertainment, the independent label founded by fellow Georgia artist Colt Ford. His early albums, A Modern Day Prodigal Son and Halfway to Heaven, helped establish his career. Halfway to Heaven later sold more than 1 million copies.
Over the past two decades, Gilbert has recorded seven No. 1 singles, including “Bottoms Up,” “Country Must Be Country Wide,” “You Don’t Know Her Like I Do” and “One Hell of an Amen.” His music has generated more than 8 billion streams worldwide, and he has performed at venues across the country, including Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium.

The Buford performance follows the July 24 release of Gilbert’s eighth studio album, Sins of the Father. The 15-track album includes collaborations with songwriters Jelly Roll, HARDY and Taylor Phillips.
“All of my albums are a chapter of my life and this one’s no different,” Gilbert said in a statement. “If there’s any piece of my story that could help somebody, I’m cheating them if I keep it to myself.”
The expanded Real American Tour will continue through early November, with stops in Savannah, Boston, Cincinnati, Biloxi and other cities before concluding in Mississippi.
Gilbert’s Oct. 10 performance is part of the City of Buford’s annual Fall Concert series at the Buford Community Center.
